well the stab wound anger is just cos they wanna bang but them banging is also important bc on a deeper level, its only when the two are with each other that theyre able to express themselves (fall asleep w each other, lust after each other, cry in each others arms) so its really adorable to see that mc is giving into the ml and allowing himself to be feel things aka be happy cos it shows he wants to live now (in comparison to before when he didnt care at all for anything otherer than revenge)
In general the ml's rough mannerisms force the mc to come to terms with the fact that he actually does want to live which is super sweet. This is my interpretation atleast ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
