The OP is misleading you all because that is not true or set in stone. Cirrus might reconsider his decision of leaving to NYC especially considering he is going on a trip with his friends. He will realise he’s loved and there’s no need of him going abroad. They are still 10 days left so plz do not believe whatever rubbish the OP spouts.

I don’t think this at all. The author is always showing a countdown in relation to Cirrus’ departure. Right now in the Raws there’s only 10 days left. Why do u think so? The answer is easy: because Cirrus will change his mind. And he will also rekindle his relationship with the dad.

Maybe you guys aren’t noticing this BUT Cirrus loves his dad (despite everything) and the dad’s walls and misjudgments of Cirrus are starting to crumble and slowly he’s starting to see Cirrus in a new light. Ofc the dad’s walls cannot be forgiven or redeemed so easily overnight considering that for the whole 10 years he’s been a ghost in Cirrus’ life BUT there can be a common ground on which both Cirrus and his dad can start over again.

No, I’m not missing anything. Cirrus said he wants to go back to the time where his dad didn’t hate him. Not that he wants to have a current relationship, he wants to live in the past. Obviously a child is gonna mourn the loss of a parent especially when that’s still alive but doesn’t want him. But nothing can change the past. Nothing will ever be enough to repair that relationship. He doesn’t trust his father anymore. He gave up on his father, he just needs closure to heal. To understand why his dad gave up on him first.

If their relationship is remotely rebuildable to some extent then it’s fully gonna be on his dad to reach out and initiate a HUGE change. I don’t think his dad will ever fully reach out, at best he’ll say that he’s wrong or sorry. Cirrus is grown, they’ll never be father and son again. One scene with the dad mumbling about how awful his son is but letting him see his friend doesn’t mean he’s changed.

Some relationships aren’t mandible. Some relationships are about receiving a sorry for closure, healing, and moving on to new stronger relationships.

I just don't think he deserves it. proclaiming, even if in grief, that he wished his son had died instead, then going on to become so utterly resentful of his own flesh and blood, a young CHILD. and to top it all off, fucking one of the women he brought into the house on his son's bed? that's repulsive, he has no respect for Cirrus and does not love him. I do not care to see him redeemed, I do not give a shit if he grovels for forgiveness (though I truly believe he never would) he is a failure of a parent and a person severely lacking morals. he can go to hell.
