Knowing what we know about Seori's rapist mom... How was she the heroine in the drama? Do they gloss over it?? Does the power of reality warp at that?? I know that a parent's sin isn't the child's fault but a rape baby?? And its obvious the father is so uncomfortable about it which is ofc reasonable and "drama/story" didn't trigger so I'm guessing it was just pushed aside?

I THOUGHT OF THIS TOO. I really wanna know HOW they managed to put that aside or made it light enough to portray Han Seori as the og FL and her dynamics with the family.

I’m guessing it was never really revealed in og story or it was but glossed over because the og story is all about how Han Seori went from being working woman (who never actually did any work after she got involved with Yebin and Eunwoo), going through hardships with romance and finding out she’s an illegitimate child of chairman of company she worked as, plus her love interest is technically her step/adoptive brother and she has to deal with meddling of her evil younger half sister. Who was defeated after the heroine gave a whole speech about morality, making her see the error of her ways. The og novel is so bad, I bet if it was an actual drama, everyone would be hating it or rooting for Yeryeon.

Ooh so that's what happened. I guess they will show it soon.

In my headcannon, in the og storyline their dad never had enough courage to open up about it, or just couldn't. Han Seori was like the ultimate sparkly FL overshadowed any flaws and challenges by virtue of being the flower's protagonist, so you could look at it like it's the flower's intentional "oversight".

That’s what I’m thinking. There was no mention about the SA in the og storyline. We only found out about it cause the dad told them about the circumstance of Han Seori’s birth, which I’m guessing he never did in the og storyline since his marriage fell apart. I bet they never explained why Yubin was adopted in the first place as well. It can’t because they needed a son, cause Yubin was adopted way before Yeryeon was conceived. It’s obvious the dad was so affected by SA that he wasn’t able to touch another woman, so they adopted Yubin cause they needed an heir. They had Yeryeon a few years later after he managed to somewhat overcome his trauma.

The og story had its flaws that made it a really bad drama, I mean Eunwoo, before he was transmigrated, had hated it and rejected the script cause he didn’t like the storyline. It’s glossing over SA, making the og Fl have a massive heroine halo that just a few simple words from her makes everyone worship the ground she walks on.
