He’s not dumb just a little socially inept and seems to be the type to act before thinking things through. That doesn’t make one dumb, it makes them reckless and though socially that makes them slow in our perspective it’s still not the same. Also he had to learn things by himself since he was young so yk ofc he isn’t the sharpest pencil but he isn’t broken. All this to say your expect genius from someone never advertised to be.
