Wait I don't get it

Its a zombie apocalypse. Gitae's leg had to be cut off probably because 1. He was either bitten/infected 2. Like he said, it was rotten beyond recognition, so Jihoon probably cut it off for Gitae's sake. Jihoon isn't a kidnapper, he's someone who saved Gitae, and now takes care of him. I'm also pretty sure Gitae lost his memories from 9 years ago, so he forgot about the apocalypse, and eas under the assumption that he was kidnapped
