normally i hate drawn out conflict because it's typically contrived. writers have to rely on miscommunication and other nonsense because their characters are bad.

but tina and theo are genuinely at odds, who they are, their desires, their goals. and yet they have equal reasons to stay together and try to work past everything. it feels like the push and pull of real people and not just poorly written characters.

also isis is one of the most nuanced side characters I've ever seen in a romantasy manhwa in a long while.
