Throughout most of the story, the two main characters are trapped in a book/dream world. In Chapter 37, after officially becoming lovers, they both wake up in the real world, retaining their memories from the book/dream. However, their perspectives differ: the uke believes he's escaped the book world but finds no evidence of its existence in reality, while the seme assumes it's another vivid dream of the uke—this time one where they could interact.
As a result, both characters mistakenly believe the other is unaware of the shared book/dream experience and begin devising separate plans to rebuild their relationship. The uke decides to mimic the events from the book world, thinking it will lead them back to where they left off (even including the darker moments like confinement and manipulation). Meanwhile, the seme views this as an opportunity to create a better, more ideal version of their love story, striving for a healthier and more genuine connection with the uke.
What's happening I'm so lost? Anyone can explain? Thank you in advance
