Hey! I read the novel would you like to be spoiled about what actually happens? Lol made a long ass paragraph about the plot but I'll keep here brief
SPOILERS ALERT!
No the 1st ML, Emperor Garon, did kill MC's mom, he doesn't remember actually since he killed whoever had horns for fun (yikes) and no, the 2nd ML, the brother didn't harbor any really did love him, he didn't do any wrong to MC (as far as the main story goes)
Didn't harbor any I'll intentions and really loved MC** (SORRY! My slimy fingers hit post while editing)
I think the killer of the mom is the one who has had a crush on him the "nice" brother . Theory one bad brother was probably in their village there already killing so nice brother went and killed mom so that mc can go live with him or lean on him . Theory two nice brother told bad brother about the village and probably said something like their talking bad about you . And I also feel like nice brother could care less about MC's people and was only "nice" because he's attracted to him
