Also it makes no sense for a highschool kid to go a 3 hours away convenient store just because. Thats a whole day trip why couldnt the author say 1 hour away? i dont know why it bothers me so much this story feels so unrealistic
I feel like this maybe was written by someone who doesn't have that much life experience. 7 years of "agony" for an almost relationship that didn't come to be in high school, where they didn't actually know each other and had nothing to base their attraction on except thinking the other was cute? There's a lot of big feelings in this that don't feel justified.
Absolutely no hate though, it's hard to write shorter stories. I think ultimately I'm just a bit disappointed because I felt like there was a lot of potential and it ended up being a story not for me.
