I get that, in the 'oh honey' sense but to my actual husband it just hits different. It's all cringe tbh even calling him by his name is cringe at times ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Darling is one of the more cringe ones... babe or honey are easier. Darling had an air of something about it. Don't get me wrong I do call my husband that sometimes but it always comes across ott and a bit sarcastic. Honey is better.
