I think that to many people bondage, sex toys = bdsm even though the foundation of bdsm is consent. I don't blame these people to be honest because I used to think that bdsm was this scary kink about a sicko who wants to rape people when I was younger mainly because in shows and movies, cutting to a bdsm scene was like a jumpscare.
