He's not selling out his mates. He felt this was the most joyous occasion living there n he wanted them to experience the same.
He got brainwashed (Stockholm syndrome) by the situation he thought it's pleasing living here than among his own people he starts to see their flaws and accepted good points of being here and wanted others to enjoy with him the joy he think.

I did not expect the MC to sell out his own teammates considering that's what his superiors did to him & he was so angry about it. Man you could see the Stockholm syndrome starting to kick in mid read & by the end he basically was like 'if I am "Suffering" everyone's gonna suffer including those who actually were loyal to me.' Also most disturbing part was MC feeling ...good when he was giving birth...so good he wanted to give birth again. LIKE WTF MAN LOL....this one was uh....a regretful read for me ngl...2/5 Art....1/5 Plot....1/5 Characters....2/10 Smut. all in all I give this a 2/10 stars.Σ( ￣□￣||)
