You can use PayPal on the app, from the app store not Lezhin Plus from their site. I'm not sure about iOS but that is the case for Android.
If you're able to purchase from the app, I would suggest you buy them using the Korean settings. The Korean site sells almost double the coins for half the price. The price in won would automatically be converted to USD if you purchase that way. It might be a bit difficult to navigate the app in Korean but it's worth it.
