I read the 1st chapter of the side story and it’s not worth reading, don’t do that to yourself.
Because it didnt explain why he couldn't love anyone even if that person loved him back, or why he didnt die the first time they kiss, not to mention the dragging on and side characters just keep showing in. ML didnt have to suffer much even though he hurt MC so many times and for so long. And whats with the ex's wedding anyway???? Everything is a mess.
I don’t get why people are hating on this so much, ML has always loved the MC. He doesn’t want MC to die. The insults were questionable but I understand where it’s coming from. As for MC, obviously he doesn’t want to die. What’s dumb about this story is how we randomly get the scholars “spirit” possessing people and how MC didn’t die from the first time they kissed, they both already realize they loved each other just never said anything unless the condition to dying was saying “I love you” but I dunno. I’d give it 2.5/5 okay characters and plot kind of unnecessary story dragging but it’s alright.
