Honestly as someone who went through similar stuff, I really agree with this but knowing its jk and fiction I think its gonna get worse
I'm lwk manifesting tbh... but yes this is fiction but!! would be nice to get even like _something_ empowering yk... ╥﹏╥ not the message "go back to your abuser if he appears to be nicer, surely it's gonna be good for you"

So do you guys think author's gonna honour all those who suffered from life's hellish cirsumstances and abuse and make Dan's healing process a realistic journey? Surely he is not going to be yet another victim of a perpetuation of the harmful myth that one can be "saved" by the "power of love"?
