Ohhhh he defnitly seems like he would lobotomise himself. My theory is that he has something to do with the scientists who created Anya and after she escaped altered his brain to protect himself from her power, but he ended up fucking himself in the process

Oh yeah he has totally experimented on himself and family. Melinda’s split personality inside her mind could be a hint.
Everyone’s saying actual alien and I’m saying the guy gave him self lobotomies/brain surgery (hence sitches) through out the years to alter his thinking in some kind of fucked up way of wrapping his mind around people and why they care about things he seemed much “tamer” in his younger years and just looks like he’s just missing key human emotion functions now
