Tbh I have seen much, much worse homophobia in real life and fiction then some insults (gay bitches) and a bit of that germ stuff with the coffee..not to excuse his behavior, but this is rather mild

don’t think he’s actually homophobic but just the result of trauma and misguided anger regarding his father… not saying that excuses it though but i feel like that makes a bit of sense
