yeah it doesn't, that's why we spent SEVERAL chapters going about it before this chapter. thank god the author didn't go and write it like garam was mad in the raws cause the point of their fight previously was literally him finally seeing how much jaehyuk is expressing with his whole body that he likes him.
like sure he can still be insecure but the point here is that the previous chapters leading up to this was built up so he'd finally TRUST jaehyuk and not get caught up in his own mind. cause he has been doing that for so long.
Garams reaction is expected. For someone like Garam, the way he yanked the girl and the conversation he heard is bound to shake that trust a little (understandably so). They're going to need to talk about it (he might need some reassurance) and, like you said jaehyuk has been doing a good job expressing his feelings....So, that'll help greatly to ease things.

It's not an assumption, he's already mad (his expression on the last page and his words prove that). The issue is to what extent OR whether he's mad because of what he heard or because their date was ruined/interrupted.
