Probably just mentally stuck. Some people in abusive relationships also stay in those relationships and justify them. I look at this the same way.

I’m unsure what her reasoning was, to go back with the princess so willingly.. it would make sense if she wanted to ensure the safety of her brother- but she knows them well enough to know that her brother would probably be even more at risk if she were killed. Or did she think that they wouldn’t dispose her? Because it’s painfully frustrating to see this unfold.
