Honestly I’m not sure exactly but I think this is going to end very badly, The king is…he’s not stupid but he is. He knows what the lords are after and he doesn’t want to give in to them but at the same time he’s giving them power by giving in to his basic nature with our poor mc….. it’s going to be our mc that convinces him to take a wife and I got a horrible thought while reading it… our mc has a daughter ….mans messed up enough to do it I fear.
