Rereading from ch1. Its been known for oong that caesar is a fcking psycho, obsessive, possesive, toxic, son of the devil mf for him shooting leewon so he wont leave. He was written like that, this was not supposed to be a fullfy romance nor the existence of leewon is meant to make him suddenly an angel. Therapy wont even able to save him. BUT its fair to say that at some point mikhail is a fckery himself too
Mikhail tricked leewon in that situation, appointing him his heir out of his own selfishness. In a way, they're just the same peas, mikhail and caesar. Well. Mikhail wont be the head if he wasnt inhumane himself. He was just depicted "gentler" to his son. But he's been sergeev's mortal enemy -- they're on the same level of power. So its obvious, lomonov is as evil as sergeev. And i still hate him, he made leewon a target by announcing he's the heir then he said he just wants to protect him? Lol he's even messed up -- REMEMBER when mikhail literally ALWAYS plots murderous attempt against caesar as a child?? For what? Just cause he can't take it on head sergeev himself?
