rereading and man...yuan 14's death still hits me like a truck like I'm literally in tears rn, his brothers reaction to his death and how he knew telepathically immediately that he was no more.... crushed my heart. and I also dislike qingshan for the absolute DOGSHIT decisions he made before getting his shit together even tho it was kinda late, the damage had been done. the conflicts and angst in this manhua is just so raw and realistic, the characters don't feel fictional, they feel real and human. and don't get me started with anatoly, his mother and sisters story.... i REALLY wish we could see more of him having a good life with qiming
