In real life, are there people like Asha who are cluelessly in love? like so naive and dumb not to know? that you don't know if you love him/her or like him/her? like you don't know if you have a crush on her/him? you know what I mean...

coz its dumb not to know.....

Of course, some are really late bloomers, maybe not as exaggerated like asha but yes they do exist

No matter what, you would still be able to differentiate between physical and emotional pain. Asha is just way too much

Unfortunately, there are. I had a friend who I strongly think is autistic because of this. She was intelligent, but by god is she DENSE.

She walks late at night without regard for her safety, even when we tell her its dangerous she doesnt see the problem.

She has been hit on by several guys and have explicitly stated they wanted to sleep with her but she thinks they’re all joking.

And lastly, she has no desire for sex so she is confused why people get horny or even RAPED. BRUH.

I ended things with her because she was too frustrated to deal with.

She is a business genius, and is honestly smart. But by god dealing with her density is something

Emotional pain can cause physical pain tho. As someone with severe anxiety disorder I sadly speak from experience here and have chronic migraines that are directly linked and caused by my anxiety disorder

Sad to report that yes there are and I was one of them. I didn't realise I was in love with my best friend until we'd already broken up as friends. There were many reasons including being a victim of heteronormativity and having alexithymia, which for me meant I was not even aware of having feelings until they all came out at once, and even then I struggled to identify them properly.

Also, it's not that farfetched to not know the difference between physical and emotional pain, because they often are heavily related. Something I learned from my therapist.
Anyway I wouldn't call Asha particularly emotionally intelligent, but I also don't think it's dumb not to know. There's usually a reason you don't, whether it's lack of experience to compare to or trauma that impairs your emotional regulation capabilities :')

Emotional pain can cause physical pain, that's true. But you would still know that you are depressed or anxious, unlike asha who doesn't even know what the source of his pain or what type it is. Again, I doubt ppl irl like him exist, but if they do pls God don't make me ever meet

Actually, I noticed the heart issues and chronic headaches (which were caused by my anxiety disorder) years before I discovered that I had any psychological issues at all (I mistook my anxiety disorder for shyness). I had to take heart medication for 2 years and go to multiple doctors as a teenager until they found out that my heart is healthy and the irregular heartbeat was caused by mental health issues.

I agree that it still is obvious what type of pain it is (how the F can you mistake heart pain for stomach pain???)
