From what I searched up, in the manhwa nothing is said explicitly. Considering what I said in my previous comment I think it's pretty obvious their relationship has romantic undertones, but since nothing is explicit it almost feels like queerbait LOL. I think you can interpret it however you want, they're obv stuck together for life regardless. If it makes you feel better, the k-drama is a bit more explicit about queerness.
