For anyone who is questioning this link, I already opened it. It's to an article about how people you know may be sending you an email sharing a Google Doc with you. Apparently it's a huge phishing scam and they are using it to hack your gmail account and then send the same email sharing the doc to all of your contacts.

Main point :
So basically don't click on an email with someone you know trying to share a Google doc unless you verified with them

No offense but the reason we believed your link to be of "suspicious" orgins is your own fault or more precisely, rather in the way you worded it. All of us are, I assume, are avid online manga readers (I'd encourage us all to do otherwise if I wasn't poor) used to these pop up ads and one of the most common ones is that YOUR COMPUTER HAS BEEN AFFECTED. DOWNLOAD OR CLICK THIS LINK TO GO WHEREEVER. Or ones that look exactly like yours where it says your emails can be compromised. Have you ever signed up for an gaming site and having this itsy bitsy warning where it says "Don't trust yaddda yadda?" Or on YouTube where there's an unspoken rule to NOT click links from unverified YouTubers? On the internet, we can't afford to be gullible.

So I'm really sorry but please don't send out these so called links without an explaination behind it. Just saying it's for our own safety isn't enough. What if your sources aren't reliable? Why should we trust you? You may think yourself to be trustworthy but we don't know that. That's why I asked you know? I was hesitant because you're probably the first person to use an emoticon of all things in what I considered a scam. I did Google this you know. Gmail comprimises and what not. I'm trying to avoid clicking that link but I guess it's safe now.

Oh I understand everyone. As I also have become cautious when being here for awhile as there're so many trolling / scamming.. which I've never seen in my country forums.

Just trying to be nice but typical there's no kindness anymore. So get hacked or affected, I don't care.

Don't feel bad. You're "anonymous". People don't know you. There's even a case that
registered member, George had made up stories just to laugh at us all later again & again for her own fun but her case had made entire community hadn't repled personal question for YEARS if it's not necessary.
