looking for an older shojo manga which also has a movie adaptation.
the story was about a popular highschool girl who moved from tokyo to a rural town and meets this guy who is kinda perceived as a "god" by everyone. his family owns a shrine and he was always swimming in the water - for some reason everyone in that town viewed him as this larger than life figure. The fl later starts modeling. i dont remember much but the plot was very dramatic and featured alot of heavy topics. at some point I think they started dating but broke up because she was assaulted, there was also an annoying 2nd female character
