I ultra agreed. Joseph should’ve been the ML. We have this random ass wizard come out of nowhere, and suddenly Joseph is invisible.
yeah i think the problem is that originally the artist was making it like the novel in which nobody was the ML in the end i guess and so you were supposed to get invested in both of them. but all the sudden they decided to change the ending so it felt like the whole story shifted. was it bad? did he get his heart smashed?
We’re supposed to think: “he’s only a knight, so he’s not supposed to be with his master”. He of course gave up and gave his approval to the wizard.
ya'll how devastating is joseph's rejection? i stopped reading when i realized erez was the ML so i could prep myself for my heart being ripped out. i like erez but joseph is peak ML.
