you’re absolutely correct. he’s actually hella strong but i think aside from being greedy he’s also so used to being dubbed as a genius and skilled kid, they have high expectations of him, and he never truly know loss bc in their world losing is such a big deal but maybe if someone was there to teach about accepting a loss then he wouldn’t be like that. sad.
You know, the kind of insane thing to consider is like duke is actually REALLY skilled. Like I kind of think we forget that purely because Jiwoo has practically never faced a loss, but Duke could of had it SO well if he wasn't so greedy and a traitor. Like, he was the top student at an international academy. Clearly, he was ranked the top amongst peers who were also considered immensely talented, yet he still threw it all away in pursuit of power. It's kind of crazy to consider. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
