Some of the stories do not deserve the beautiful art lol. It pains me to see beautiful characters and art wasted on bland or trash storylines (￣∇￣")

10000% agree. let’s be real like most of the popular stories here are only popular because of art. and i get it like i like good art too. but it just sucks, and the good plots get little attention ugh
my maybe unpopular? opinion: i think it’s weird some people will *only* read stories with smut and refuse to read non-smut ones or say stuff like “i was reading this because i thought there’s smut”.
Personally, I prefer romance stories where the leads get into a relationship BEFORE having sex. I want to see two people get to know eachother and fall in love first, then when they're an established couple they can do the devil's tango.
I also don't like childhood friends to lovers coz they literally grow up together like siblings and I can't get that off my head, I don't mind if they didn't meet for like few years and just met when they where like adult but when they literally never leave each other's side, it gave me icks

I don’t like childhood friends to lovers or best friend to lovers. The reason is, I enjoy the process of getting know each other from zero. The way that they learn more about themselves and that’s when the love starts to grow. I know there are some things that attract people to read childhood friends to lovers but I don’t get the appeal. Most of the stories from the trope that I read don’t really give me the appeal since most of them just about them don’t want to admit their feeling cause afraid that they will ruin their relationship or mostly just unnecessary misunderstanding and miscommunication.
