DISCLAIMER: This is purely from memory and my understanding of the plot. I apologize if there's like grammatical/spelling errors because I'm waiting this at 11PM at dark.
Before we start, we need to remind ourselves how the plot started to fully understand the importance of what has happened until now. Okay, to give a little more context, the FL has decided to go undercover as a "maid/helper" to the ML to find a cure or the cause of her younger sister's "possession" (her sibling getting possessed by ghosts and shit), she did so under the cause that there was like a bad omen around the ML. What has happened? Well, here are some important plot points (based on what I remember, so there might be stuff missing):
- FL and ML find a cure for the Crown Prince's illness which helped him to regain his influence in the political circles.
- FL and ML discover that an enemy/rival country has been doing some wicked stuff and tries to assassinate one of the princes, which was intercepted by the FL that resulted her to get injured.
- It was revealed that ML knew the whole time FL was the young heiress of the Archen Dukedom and has remembered the first meeting they shared when they were young. He had seen her the second time during her debut to society.
- ML had received the blessing of the royal family. The curse/blessing of the royal bloodline implied that the first born child of blonde-hair features will possess incredible talent, intelligence and all the good stuff; however, for the second born child of silver hair and purple eyes, they will suffer and immeasurable end. It was revealed that, although his older brother had received the blessing, the "witch" had passed the blessing to the ML, causing ML's brother his illness.
- Apparently, the witch had told the ML that in exchange for the blessing, someone had to receive the curse of dieing and since the witch can not place it on the ML's brother, she had pointed out that the one most likely to get it was the FL (I worded it like that, but it was more like whoever ML mostly cherished was going to die in effect of having been blessed. This happened when they were still young).
- The ghost in which FL usually "hangs out with" or talks to whose identity was unknown for awhile (young looking blondie ghost) was actually the First Emperor who had then married the "Witch/Sorceress" that has placed the curse/blessing on their bloodline.
- There's a whole ass backstory on what had happened with the First Emperor and the Sorceress but in shorter words, the Sorceress felt betrayed by the Emperor's action which led to her cursing/or killing (I don't remember) one of their children while blessing them as the Emperor asked her to (the woman had given him 3 wishes, something like that).
- ML and FL reveals their intentions with each other and promises to meet again in the future once FL goes back to the Archen Dukedom to regain or develop her political power in the south.
There's a lot of extra stuff that had happened but this is what I consider most important to the story as of the entire Season 1. Here's what's happening now:
- FL's influence in the political/social field has grown and solidified as the sole heiress to her father.
- Now that the Crown Prince has returned, there's a re-election for his head chamberlain with the leading candidate being the Duke of Archen (FL's dad) even though the man doesn't want to, claiming he wants to see FL's marriage before he can ever leave to the capital.
- The FL is preparing for her younger sister's debut to society (needing to debut late because of all the ghost possession situation), and as she was going through the preparations, she had noticed a suspicious gift from a rich Baron.
- The gift the Baron had given to the daughter of the Duke was a large ship big enough to be like a warship. FL wanted to find out his intentions of giving them that, so she decides to attend his party with him being her escort. It was then that FL finds out that there was a red-eyed same color hair singer popular among the social circles who had come to perform a very treasonous/scandalous songs stating that the Archen Dukedom was superior even to the Royal Family.
- Two things were discovered: 1) The steward of the Dukedom had actually discovered the singer and had trained (?) her to be a backup for the FL when she had left undercover to the palace. You could say the singer was, at some point, covering for/pretending to be the FL once (based on recent chapter 110).
2) The Royal Family had publicly sent the ML to investigate the claims of treason led by the Archen Duchy. Someone from another noble family who had falling graces with the Emperor and Empress (I don't remember if it was a County or another Dukedom but let's say it's a Count's family) as there was a woman from that family who used to be the Emperor's lover before marriage. (I'm trying to give all the details so that y'all know what's getting me hooked into this story) Privately, the Emperor's intention to sending his son was actually to find the cause of these claims/rumors because he knows the Duchy's loyalty.
- This whole time when they were separated, FL has been having dreams of the ML, missing him and thinking about him every chance she gets, so you can imagine that when her father had come home with the ML as his guest, the reunion was sweet (kisses and all).
- ML's guilt over what happened at the palace (FL getting hurt and almost dieing from the assassination attempt) has made him uneasy and he wishes for the FL to not get involved in anything dangerous but our bbg girl boss wants to take matters into her own hands.
- FL suspects that the Baron is backing up the family who had accused them with rumors of treason because the baron wants to place them (a puppet) as the next head chamberlain of the crown prince. (Recent chapter 119) FL hears that there's possibly a Slave/Human Auction going on at the Baron's parties. She somehow pushes the ladies from where she heard that from to get her an invitation to one of those parties. There's also another lady who is likely to become her ally in that investigation as that lady is also trying to find out where the auction is taking place to maybe dig up dust on her brother-in-law (a friend/supporter of the Baron and the red hair county people who had accused the duchy yada yada you know who I mean).
- Chapter 110. FL wants to figure out the intentions of the singer under the guise of rewarding her for having pretended to be her during her absence. (MY INTERPRETATION) It seems the mysterious singer envies the FL's upbringing or luck to be born in a rich and powerful family.
That's all I can remember...so yeah. I really recommend y'all to read this shit because it's so freaking interesting and the curiosity over everything that might happen is killing me, but the bad translation can be really misleading...
Btw, we still don't know why FL's sister is getting possessed, but I hope to see more of FL's ability to see ghosts because we're this far and we still don't know anything about like the internal stuff going on with her family. Either way, season 2 seems to be entering more into the political aspect of the world

Really? I thought he was well enough to be going around shooting arrows with the emperor. It might have been an excuse or he was not used to it as he was bedridden for a long time.

I don't remember whether it was the official translations or not but the cure would normally cure anything natural but since the crown prince was going thru a rare generational curse , it would be hard to cure . Again this is what I remember and if its wrong pls feel free to point it out cus even im struggling to put 2 and 2 together .

That's true. This is purely theory, but what if the curse didn't fully go to the crown prince but partly? It doesn't make sense that our FL would be in danger being in close proximity with the ML if that was the case. Maybe they'll explain more on it later with future chapters.
