I don't think at this point that is still relevant. It has been 300+ chapters history hardwork should had already paid and as far as I can see the inconsistency can never be far from this. It is always the hardwork reason fuck that shit that boy Asta deserve a reward more than anyone. Not some lousy technique.
I get that but the whole point of asta’s character is based off the fact that he’s not special, and everything he has now is from hard work. Yuno is supposed to be the complete opposite of that with natural talent and abilities, so I feel like giving asta a power up would take away from the embodiment of his character. Like I do want asta to get a cool reward or something but I can see why the author is giving yuno one and not him
bro at this point just named the manga as "Yuno, the author's fav character"..i mean like what's the point having Asta to be the mc if Yuno get all the powers aka might become op atp more than the supposedly mc..damn 300+ chapters and not that many development for Asta, now i know why i stop reading this manga before
