Because everyone knows the crown prince is psychotic and nobody wants to “get into a tragic accident” because they pissed him off. Since the king is infirm and he is the only male heir, he also holds a lot more power than most crown princes would. My assumption is that people may have gone along out of fear, but the prince wasn’t really interested in collecting testimony. He detained people as a formality, but he was always goin*to find a way to drag Selena with him, which is why he demanded her detainment before any reasonable investigation was made
I'm in Chapter 68 and isn't the FL is with the ML and surrounded with ladies?? Like how is she framed when they are surrounded with nobles??
