im genuinely dropping this story bc of him like it's crazy bc i can usually handle the obsessive type MLs to an extent—but this guy is genuinely a stalker freak!! none of this is romantic or cute, he's obsessive to a HORRIFYING degree, sees the mc as little more than a possession, and does not recognize her autonomy. there's nothing compelling about him. we're supposed to believe he "loves" her and can't live without her because, he, what... was emotionally detached in their previous life? Basically kept her under lock and key? showed her absolutely no affection? idgaf what his excuse was, it's baffling that this is supposed to be romantic in any capacity
I was like you but after reading the novel, you won't feel that way.
