Uncle is a term used for older men. I don’t mean older, older though. Lol. Also I think the haggard face and tired eyes is just because mentally he’s been through a lot, stress plays a good part of that.

For some reason this series is making me very uncomfortable. I'm at chapter 10 but I'm struggling to keep reading. It's not just because the detective is older than your typical uke, but the way he's portrayed: the haggard face, the tired and somewhat lifeless eyes... I mean it seems like the artist did everything they could to make him look OLD.. and the blondie calling him uncle on top of that
