what I understood was that he liked that one office girl with light hair and a long ponytail. I think they called her Tsukasa-kun? there is a chapter where she thanks Kaede for some flower bouquet and then leaves while he stares at her blushing and mumbling smth like "Please accept more in the future". Idk about him ending up with the new guy.
