Well, idk for sure, but at the end Belieta will be accused for using black magic and burnt at stake.
So Belieta and her father will be burned due to using black magic and being accused of being traitors to the empire. Her father tried to plead that only be be punished and spare his daughter. Until the very end he tried everything to protect his daughter. Belieta didn’t really care, she even deluded herself into thinking that Sierre will always remember when dies right in front of her. Originally the Duke, Belieta’s father, had ordered someone to give him and his daughter a potion that puts them to sleep and they won’t feel anything while burning, but they woke and were in pain. Belieta was laughing like a madman think she had won, but when looked Sierre, she saw that Sierre showed no hint of emotion towards her death. She realised Sierre really didn’t care about her or will even give her an after thought after her death. She started screaming in anguish from the pain and the realisation.
