Yeah, I’ve read some that were like that- with the declaration of love, or the kiss, being way into later chapters.
Idk, it just feels to me like they aren’t crushing enough. One doesn’t know he has feelings, the other- he seemed interested and affectionate? But brothers and close friends can be possessive, clingy, and cuddly (in a younger sibling sort of “pet me” way). Not that I think that’s how they’ll end up, but there isn’t even a quarter of the bromance here as what you’d find in “A Mild Noble’s Vacation” and it’s not even shonenai! Well not technically anyway.
I know the difference between yaoi and shonenai but is this series really shonenai? I feel like it’s barely even bromance. Plus it’s one sided. I feel like someone’s gonna say, “well that’s just because it’s not yaoi” but no, I don’t think that’s the issue.
