Essentially it's both. Her father wanted her to be in an arranged marriage but she can choose who to marry. With the prince she just had a contract with him to set the boundaries of their union, sort of like a prenup. I don't think the father knows that they have a contract (or rather it wasn't explicitly stated) otherwise I think he'd be more against the marriage.
Um.. is her marriage an an arranged marriage or an arranged contract marriage? Cuz it looks like she agreed to the arrangement with her father and when she was talking to the prince it looked like a contract marriage?
