He's famous cus after the game thingy he played, ppl found out that he was the son of God, which is why he's famous. I think it's a big deal for them, seeing as how ppl are acting. Plus a lot of ppl loved his mother, 'God' which I think is also why.

I believe that right after the fight when Fritz came to take Moon that it was revealed that he was the son of God. That's when the higher up ppl saw his face and realised that he was. I think they revealed it to the media so that ppl could recognise his face and whatever.
