Y’all we literally know exactly where Pamela is, I agree with the other commenter that she’s either harnessing her powers or he’s sealing them, if I had to guess, Ray is gonna walk in on him using magic on Pamela while she’s sleeping - get pissed - and kill him finally.

I actually really hope he does die at the end - yes because he was trash with cash and ass, but also because I think it’s a much better ending than a redemption.
