when memories return, maintaining a "new personality" is difficult because it was ignorant and dissociative of your real feelings and experiences, right? then memories probably seems more like a dream and are foggy. and if you go into shock and all you wouldn't focus so much on the new memories. like your brain is overload and confused. I don't read much amnesia troop but I believe that's what most authors try to do.

Like when they finally got their memory back, why they revert back to their past personality? Its like gaining past memory erase the current memory
