She seems to have the sentiment for real,
but cant help thinking she's plotting to manipulate him until she escapes.
Thats how she is.
We also haven't been given any recollection from her memory/the scene wasnt as stretched out for us to see that she actually understood and chose to stay by Gil.. also that last panel looks off
