Being so serious, I’m not moved (emotionally)… I feel like Glen is suppose to be character I should care about more, but I don’t.
His death just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, it feels like a weird plot device/set-up for the romantic progression (don’t have to agree to this, but in this moment this is how I feel). I’m just not fucking with how this situation even progressed, like Ross pulling up and causing all of this BS dead feels random/unserious, because the stakes of the situation don’t seem that high despite all that transpired (cuz yk a man literally died).
Anyways, as the story went on it just feels like his character became detached from moving the plot and more so on moving Shin’s character. Like… I feel bad, but not because he died but because of how it affected Shin, yk? Even just as I was reading some of the comments online and shit, the reaction to his death has been very Shin-focused… which makes sense cause, yk, they’re siblings and this is the freaking main character’s family! But like I wish I was more sad/disappointed because his character is now gone and not because of how sad the situation is in Shin losing basically his only family member.
Really, a part of me feels like the author wasted him, but at the same time didn’t because of the things stated above. It’s an unfortunate situstion but oh well, the story will continue. rip.
