That's even more of a problem unfortunately :( But it can be okay for horror manga or very specific types of shounen and seinen manga. I usually have to figure it out on a case by case basis

Okay...just curiousty talking here, no offense intended and if you don't like the topic you can skip answering..... But what abt same sex couples, like guys together or girls together, does the ocd still come up and if one of the people in couple is like buff-buff does their height still bug you and if it's the fantasy genre we are talking abt, if two different species are together does your brain accept the height difference or does it still annoy you.
Sorry I'm so late to this! So to answer your question, in same sex couples they either need to be the same height or have the same proportions if one of them is shorter. If there's a top and a bottom, the bottom usually needs to be taller or more masculine. I don't tend to read comics involving interspecies relationships, but if they're both humanoid than the same rules apply :>

I am talking exactly about the non humanoid parts. Like if the dragon shifts into a human form and has scales and horns in their humanoid form. Would it be like "yea different species whose heights originally are buildings apart so a few in hes taller is no issue". Or if their human heights are the same but due to horns and stuff one LOOKS taller.
OR
If we talk about furries, would species difference make you accept it. Like if one of them is a leopard, tiger, wolf, or lion and the other is a hamster, squirrel or rabbit. Would you brain be like "In nature there is a natural height difference so when they turn humanoid it's completely plausible, logical and fine for them to have a so-and-so height difference"
Also this convo somehow feels illegal, like going into a store but not buying anything and the clerk looking at you illegal.
I need to figure if it's normal to get irrationally angry that stories like this exist. Like, I'm fine when the girl is tall and the boy is short, but as soon as they're average in height I can only wish for their downfall. It's either a manifestation of my mental disorder or some kind of internalized shit I need to work on. Anyways.
