I’ve always felt odd about the whole Pervaz thing because rather than a home, it’s always looked to me like the place where her father was exiled because the former emperor was jealous of how powerful and capable he was as a warrior. They only really managed to turn it into more of a home after she married our current emperor because of all the money that came along with him.

What I’d like is for them to have two kids. One who grows up to be the next emperor and another who grows up to run Pervaz

I can see that but I feel like after living there for so long and fighting to keep it safe and the connection she has with that land, it became her home abd a place she can reside in-I think she was born there? Not sure

I don’t know, it’s a place where her father and brothers fought desperately so they’d get the recognition they deserved and be welcomed as the nobles they were back where they came from. Pervaz was essentially where they were exiled to. Im pretty sure she was a kid when they were forced there too. Sure, it changed from being a temporary home to something she fought to preserve so she could take care of her people, but I remember the way it looked when the ML first stepped there and it was just a sad place to be. All they knew there was harsh cold and struggle. I think she cares more about the people she spent so much of her time struggling with, than she cared about the land and as long as they’re taken cared of, she’ll be fine. I feel like she might even name Donovan as the next leader of Pervaz. It might appease his girl’s father. (Forgot their names)

It was never stated if she was born there or not/ I’d just assumed so
But my point still stands, there were many times in the story where she felt such a connection to the people and her land and her sole purpose was to make it safe for everyone- which I think made it feel like home

The reason why it still looked like shit was cuz they won the war and went to get the money they were promised (which was not tech fulfilled in the way they wanted); so when ML came to them- he provided what she needed, which was resources
