I feel like with this type of relationship, they should have given it a few more years, when Jinwoo would feel more mature and older. I think this type of relationship, where one is older, shouldnt really happen when the other one is practically still a minor. Im not againts it, but Jiyoung having a crush on Jinwoo already, feels kinda weird. I like Jinwoo having a crush Jiyoung, its really cute, but i really wish she fell for Jinwoo when hes much more older and mature. Although, Jiyoung is only really slightly older than them, she kinda still feels out of Jinwoo's league. I kinda want it to happen when she feels more like on the same league as Jinwoo. Like older, mature and established. I feel like thats the reason it feels forced, Jiyoung shouldnt really be having crush on a minor, and Jinwoo isnt really mature and established enough for Jiyoung, even with the status of being Kaydens disciple. Especially since he still feels pure and innocent like a child. Although hes getting there, there are moments when Jinwoo feels mature recently, hes not really on Jiyoungs level of maturity.

Good points. I mentored minors when I was about her age and didn’t feel any of that. Like someone younger having a crush on you, you don’t reciprocate as the older mentor. I think their relationship would eat as like a mature power couple but right now it’s a little … iffy … when I think about his age. If we flipped the genders, it’d be socially considered predatory. So why shouldn’t it be just bc he’s a boy?

Yep, in all honesty, i do ship them, but only when it was more of a one sided crush on Jinwoo's part. The dynamic between them was cute before but now it feels very iffy. Age gap is really only acceptable when they either meet as both adults, or when the older one only ends up falling for the younger one when theyre already a proper adult. Like its fine crushing on someone older, but for the older person to reciprocate that when the younger one is still a minor and doesnt really feel that mature, is really iffy. I was kinda hoping for her to fall for Jinwoo when hes older plus more manly and mature. Especially since we see glimpses of Jinwoo being more manly and mature recently, although his usual childlike innocence is still, well, his usual.
In all honesty, this dynamic lost its charm the moment the author made it obvious that Jiyoung likes Jinwoo back. Especially since Jinwoo feels very young, not just in age, but personality as well.
Jiwoo and Jiyoung pairing feels forced/lack chemistry. It’s uninteresting and bland. It feels inconsequential.
I did notice that after meeting Jiwoo, her outfits became more varied/fashionable/stylish.
But I’m not a fan of them being romantically tied. I’d actually prefer if this story didn’t have any/much romance. Gestella’s crush on Kayden is funny though. It adds comedy.
However, ultimately this story belongs to the creators of it and we as individuals don’t need to agree/like every single point of a story to enjoy it overall. If it is so unpleasant, I would do what I usually do… which is to tell myself “this isn’t for me.” Because not everything has to be for me. And that’s fine.
