WAHHH this is what i thought too. on one hand i believe bad guys need to stay bad guys but on the other hand i LOOOVE villains with a moral compass.

In the last panel they seemed to have had a pretty heartfelt connection at some point. Taking into the fact she has special blood and he mentioned her family was scum, could they have had unsavoury plans for Nei? ALL A THEORY but I wonder if that's why he killed them and seems to want to let Nei kill him to even it all out.
