Totally agree. I also dislike when ppl claim that the community didn't care about this stuff in the past, because that's just not true. These conversations have been happening for decades, long before I ever picked up a bl manga and will probably continue long after we're all gone.
i notice that when it comes to critiques of series like reverse thinking or non zero sum people say only minors have issues with the morality and ethics of works like those which i find is not true.. i know that the main concern is that minors shouldnt even be in these spaces but PLENTY of adults have issues with series with controversial plot lines saying only minors have issues with these series feels like ur just brushing off the obvious concerns ppl can have w controversial media . i do agree how ever that if u find these types of series disgusting just please dont read the media or interact w the fandom theres so many other things to read. but i dont believe that people shouldnt be allowed to criticize unethical media.
