No I don’t mean like just natural scent and all that. The way his insecurity is affecting him is realistic imo. He got told once or twice he smelt like fish, and that impacted him A LOT.
Exactlyyy especially in the context of his living, smells like fish can get impregnated in your clothes and considering his past experiences, it’s something that can create trauma/anxiety

nah but food smell clings onto everything, from clothes to hair. even if i cook lunch and i havent gone out, ill smell like whatever i made. i cant leave a restaurant without smelling like whatever was cooking inside, either. it's also unrealistic to shower after each meal. so i totally get the fear of smelling like food, especially smth as strong as fish.
Actually not once or twice mc was bullied since highschool, kids saying mean things like he smelled fishy and what hurt him the most was his first love (his ex bf) also said the same things to his face that's why he took it seriously and believed he smells like that
