Honey, that's the reason why people point it out! R* is never normal, and romanticizing this subject encourages some people to think it's normal irl. You may not apply that thinking in real life, but so many people do. The more it becomes common, the more it attracts certain kinds of ppl. Sure, it's fiction, but you thinking it's normal proves their point.
